IMAX with Laser – the ultimate cinema experience

IMAX is now available at Forum Cinemas Vingis in Vilnius.

With exceptionally bright IMAX with Laser projection and next-generation precision IMAX sound, everything is designed to deliver a truly extraordinary and immersive cinema experience.

The cinema centre is proud to feature an impressive IMAX screen measuring 20.5 metres wide and 11 metres high.

The cinema’s success is also driven by advanced technological solutions. Thanks to the special screen material used in our cinemas, image quality is up to 20% better compared with cinemas where sound equipment is installed behind the screen.

Our cinema centres are equipped with a greater number of speakers, and their carefully planned technical placement ensures superior sound quality. DTS technology reproduces sound digitally from a compact disc, while Dolby Digital, which plays sound directly from the film copy, is used as a backup and additional system when a film does not have a DTS disc.

Another essential part of the comfort experience is the seating, custom-made in France, with each chair costing €250. Wider spaces between rows allow even the tallest basketball player in the country to stretch out comfortably, while the amphitheatre-style seating angle has also been calculated with the smallest viewers in mind. The cinema screen is clearly visible from every seat in every row.

A new cinema experience where you can fully relax and immerse yourself in the complete magic of film — the picture, sound, effects, details, scenes, and atmosphere.

This is the new standard of cinema: the LUXE hall. Now, it becomes iLUXE — the newest cinema hall in Vilnius, located at Forum Cinemas Vingis.

iLUXE is, first and foremost, an entire cinema hall equipped with multifunctional recliner seats, allowing you to watch a film in the position that feels most comfortable to you — even lying down.

iLUXE features a maximised cinema screen measuring 74.76 m²13.47 x 5.55 m.

iLUXE means laser projection and the brightest image quality.

iLUXE delivers immersive multi-channel Dolby Digital Surround 7.1 sound.

Experience it — Forum Cinemas iLUXE.

On a hot summer day or a cold winter evening, the temperature inside the cinema centre and its halls always remains the same — a comfortable 22°C, with air conditioning operating throughout the venue. These comforts are immediately appreciated by frequent cinema visitors. Guests who have watched films abroad also recognise that only a few cities in Western Europe can offer cinema halls of this standard.

Forum Cinemas Group invested more than 40 million Lithuanian litas in the construction and equipment of Forum Cinemas Vingis. The construction works took approximately 10 months.

For those looking for something more exclusive, the fifth floor of the cinema centre features a 66-seat balcony where visitors can watch films shown in the Grand Hall. Extra attention has been given to comfort in the balcony area, with wider spacing between rows, convenient tables, and a cosy cinema bar located nearby, open to all visitors. Another pleasant advantage is that a balcony ticket costs the same as a regular seat in the hall.

Special attention is also given to the film programme. To suit different tastes, every day we offer a wide selection of films — from popular comedies, action films and thrillers to family films and animated features for younger audiences. Eleven cinema halls ensure that visitors can choose a film that matches their mood and needs almost every hour, and simply relax.

We present not only the latest Hollywood releases, but also warmly welcome fans of alternative, non-commercial European cinema and films from other regions. Film festivals and special cinema projects also promise an active and diverse cinema-going experience. Events like these are a frequent highlight at our cinema centre.

Car Parking at Forum Cinemas Vingis

Parking at Forum Cinemas Vingis

Vilnius is growing, developing and becoming busier, while the city centre continues to expand. As a result, the vacant plot of land next to Forum Cinemas Vingis, which was previously used for the convenience of our visitors as a parking area, has now become a construction site.

For this reason, our car park has been reduced to the boundaries of our own territory, and there are no longer enough parking spaces for all cinema visitors. When planning your visit to Forum Cinemas Vingis, we therefore recommend choosing public transport or checking alternative parking options nearby, for example near Hyper Rimi, where parking is free for up to 2 hours.

Arriving by car?

Parking is cheaper for cinema visitors if you pay for it at the cinema box office when purchasing your ticket. The price is €0.60 for 4 hours of parking.

Our cinema box office staff will be happy to advise and assist you if you bought your ticket online or in advance, or if you are attending an opera screening that lasts longer than 4 hours. We recommend arranging parking before the screening, rather than after it.

Please make sure to plan enough time for both parking and parking payment during our box office opening hours. The box office is open daily from 10:30 to 22:00.

If you miss the opportunity to pay for parking together with your cinema ticket, standard parking rates will apply. Please take care of your parking in advance — we want your visit to be as convenient as possible.
