Story of finding love of your life, which will soon be gone. Story of how important is to keep your love. This is a story of Lovers. Man is mid-fifties and wed, woman is much younger. They live keeping their secret and raising together their five your old child born out of wedlock. Once she, Marta, is tired of state of her life as mistress and living in hiding. Man, Dmitri, does not want to lose woman he loves and their child, but his commitment to his official family does not let him to leave it. He is lost. But after few moments in her life Marta understands she was wrong and comes back to Dmitri. They are happy together again. But not for long.

“My story is nothing unusual. I heard many stories like that, stories about men in doubt, middle aged men with low self confidence, who desperately falls in love with their young mistresses and leave their wives. The worst part is the biggest victim of this situation is kids. I can’t understand that. I wanted to show this situation form inside, so that the viewers could judge themselves”, – says director Ramunė Čekuolytė-Che.

After finishing her studies at Vilnius Academy of Arts stylist, art, film, and theatre director Ramunė Čekuolytė-Che has graduated from All-Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK) as a scriptwriter and took master courses of filmmaking in Moscow by 2008. “Jam Jar” is her debut feature created with very low budget and no support from national funds.
