Plastiko šiukšlių pilna visur: vandenų dugne, tolimiausiuose ledynuose ir net ką tik gimusių kūdikių organizmuose. Plastikas tiesiogine to žodžio prasme teršia kiekvieną mūsų. Tačiau vis dar egzistuojantys plastiko lobistai to nėmaž nesigėdija. Priešingai: jie turi daugybę argumentų, kodėl plastikas neva yra fantastiškas. Filmas apie tai, kodėl, net būdama tokia akivaizdi, ši problema iki šiol nėra išspręsta.

While the crisis deepens and recycling is far from what it should be, the plastics industry continues to ramp up production. Do they want to continue as before? Plastic Fantastic follows several protagonists, both representatives of the plastics industry and scientists together with activists, to find out where the plastics crisis is leading us.
